Dost-9 & FNRI to Conduct Techno Forum on Veggie Noodle and Bread
In response to the Presidential Directive to roll-out the technology on veggie noodle and bread, the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. IX (DOST-IX), in partnership with the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) is organizing an “Awareness Seminar and Technology Clinic on Veggie Noodle / Bread at the Emerald Hall, Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City on 23 October 2008 from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
In response to the Presidential Directive to roll-out the technology on veggie noodle and bread, the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. IX (DOST-IX), in partnership with the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) is organizing an “Awareness Seminar and Technology Clinic on Veggie Noodle / Bread at the Emerald Hall, Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City on 23 October 2008 from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
DOST IX has targeted local and existing bread and noodles manufacturers / producers throughout the region to participate in the seminar. Food experts from the DOST-FNRI in Manila will be arriving in the city to serve as resource persons. Attendance to the seminar is free-of-charge; however, seats are limited and on a first-come-first served basis. Interested parties are advised to sign up in advance with Ms. Thelma E. Diego or Ms. Josephine B. Nohay of DOST-IX (phone no. 991-1024).
