The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, through the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) continues to accept applications for the 31st Khwarizmi International Award (KIA).
In memory of Iranian Muslim mathematician and astronomer Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, the annual award is dedicated to recognizing outstanding scientific achievements made by researchers, inventors and innovators from all over the world.
Those in the following fields are encouraged to participate:

Research work categories include Applied Research, Fundamental Research, Research and Development, and Invention and Innovation.
