Regional Science & Technology Week Celebration Set July 21-25 in Pagadian
In its effort to intensify the promotion of science and technology activities at the regional level, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-9), this year celebrates Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) in Pagadian City on July 21-25, 2008.
The activities lined-up are : 1) Opening Program and Blessing & Ribbon Cutting of the new DOST-9 Regional Satellite Office located at Rizal Avenue cor. Duterte St. (July 21, 8 – 10am) ; 2) Forum on Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation (July 21, 1-5pm); 3) Training on Bath Soap Making/Fabric Softener Formulation (July 21-22, 8-5pm); 4) Inventors’ Forum (July 22, 8-5pm); 5) Training on Charcoal Briquetting (July 23, 8-5pm); and 6) Training on Meal Management (July 24-25). All activities / trainings are free-of-charge and will be held at the 3rd floor of the DOST Regional Satellite Office.
The Regional Satellite Office in Pagadian City will be inviting target individuals / parties to join / participate in the said activities.
