DOST’s Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program or SETUP will showcase their leading technologies and programs in the agency's annual Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) on July 25-27 at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention and Sports Center in Dipolog City.
Aside from their current programs and S&T innovations, SETUP will also conduct technicalconsultancies on packaging and labeling, food innovation and safety, as well as a forum on SETUP itself.
This flagship program of DOST focuses on assisting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)in six priority sectors namely: food processing, metals and engineering, furniture, marine and aquatic resources, agriculture/ horticulture, and gifts and holiday decors.
The program assists MSMEs to improve its productivity through different technological interventions such as acquisition of innovative and cost-effective technology, product development, process improvement, human resource development, and consultancy services, among others.
The event is open to all interested individuals (S&T enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, students, researchers, inventors, innovators, professionals and the general public). ADMISSION IS FREE.
