This search is a collaborative efforts of four (4) government agencies, namely: PCHRD-DOST; Department of Health (DOH), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and UP-National Institutes of Health (UP-NIH). The PNHRS is a mechanism and venue for cooperation and promotion of research among organizations, networks, and professionals aimed to maximize gains from health research, and to be better respond to the pressing health problems in the country.
The award recognizes and reward vital contributions of mentors in health search in the development of research capabilities among human resources which will proper significant advances in PNHRS’ thrusts identified in the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA).
The search is open to all Filipino who are actively involve in mentoring research/students or colleagues and professionals and are actively involve in health research activities.
All qualified nominees will receive a PNHRS pin and a certificate of recognition; each regional winner (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, NCR) will receive P 50,000.00 plus a plaque of recognition and the national winner will receive a cash prize of P 100,000.00 plus trophy during the PNHRS Week Celebration.
