The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has extended application for the 2015 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination until August 29, 2014.
The scholarship is open to high school students with high aptitude in science and technology.
The two types of scholarships being offered are the RA 7687 and Merit scholarship programs. Scholarships in BS degree programs will be awarded qualifiers planning to pursue priority fields in basic and applied sciences, engineering and science teaching.
Among the scholarship privileges include tuition and other school fees up to P 10,000; book allowance of P10,000 per year; monthly living allowance up to P 5,000; PE uniform allowance; round trip transportation allowance; group health and accident insurance; and post-graduation clothing allowance.

The nation-wide qualifying examination is scheduled on September 21, 2014.
