The Philippine Science of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC) is pleased to invite all elementary schools to join the 2012 National Children’s Science Interactive Workshop (NCSIW 2012) on October 22-25, 2012 in Plaza del Norte Hotel and Convention Center, Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
With its theme, “Rise of Energia: Conducting the Hunt and the Access to a Renewable Generation of Energy”, this year’s NCSIW will focus on understanding the fundamental concepts and current trends and breakthroughs in the field of Renewable Energy. NCSIW 2012 also aims to promote research and development among elementary students by showcasing inventions and discoveries of budding student scientists that have impact on the environment.
Other activities that will be featured are series of lectures and workshops, exposure trips and other educational fun-filled activities. The four-day event will also include the following activities / competitions: (1) NCSIW Science Fair 2012; (2) Cameron’s Thanksgiving: Festivity of Abundance (Pasalubong Festival Competition); (3) The Shadow’s Scintilla (Entertainment Night Competition); (4) Poster Making Contest; (5) Essay Writing Contest; and (6) School Quiz Competition.
To register, interested parties must submit the following requirements:
1. Registration Fee of Php 5,000 for AFFILIATED schools and Php 8,000 for NON-AFFILIATED schools. A Reservation Fee of Php 750 (deductible from the Reg Fee) is required;
2. Duly accomplished Registration Form;

4. 2 pcs. 1×1 ID picture with full names at the back
Registration fee will cover board and lodging from dinner of October 22, 2012 until breakfast of October 25, 2012, CSIW kit, shirt, educational trip expenses and insurance.
The deadline for reservations is on October 12, 2012.
