The Department of Science and Technology ? Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is pleased to announce the availability of graduate scholarship grants for Masters and PhD in science and mathematics education under the Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program-Science Education Consortium for SY 2009-2010.
The criteria of eligibility are 1) have been a scholar-graduate under any of the DOST-SEI scholarship programs in the undergraduate or MS or MAT levels; and / or have graduated with academic honors in the undergraduate of MS / MAT degree in any of the priority fields; 2) have good academic record; 3) have been admitted to the Masters / PhD in Science Education Consortium Program in any of the identified institutions; 4) have at least two (2) years teaching experience in science and mathematics; 5) be of good health and character; 6) not be more than 45 years old; 7) not be a recipient of other scholarships; and 8) be a resident of Visayas and Mindanao.
The scholarship privileges are 1) actual tuition and other school fees; 2) Monthly stipend for PhD Program is at P 23,000 / month while for Master?s Program is at P15,000 / month.
