Department of Science and Technology (PAGASA-DOST) and the Philippine Council for Industry and Energy Research and Development - Department of Science and Technology (PCIERD-DOST) will be holding a series of symposia entitled ?Enhancing Communities? Capacity to Confront Extreme Geo-Meteorological Events at the Core of Climate Change?. The first regional meeting will be conducted in Zamboanga City on April 30, 2009 at the Garden Orchid Hotel.
