Farmer Organization, Kapunongan sa Mag-uuma sa Paraiso (KAMAGPA), received financial grant amounting to P636,684.16 from the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No. IX (DOST-IX). The initiative is set to support the adoption of Biogas Digesting Technology to effectively harness the potentials of renewable energy from waste.

In celebration of the 2022 National Women’s Month and in support of the #WeMakeChange campaign, the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office IX invites all interested individuals to a Mobile Photography Contest with the topic: “Women and Girls in Science and Technology: New Normal.” The National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) 2022 will focus on the sub-theme: “Agenda ng Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran.” It will be a celebration of Filipino women’s power to take the narrative, raise priority issues that matter, and call for concrete actions.
