The Department of Science and Technology – IX (DOST-IX) through the Provincial Science and Technology Office – Zamboanga del Norte (PSTO-ZDN) turned-over on Monday STARBOOKS digital library to three schools in the Municipality of Godod, Zamboanga del Norte. The beneficiary schools include Bunawan Elementary School, Makinaryas Elementary School, and Godod National High School – Bunawan Annex.

DAPITAN CITY -- The Department of Science and Technology – IX (DOST-IX) has approved a grant amounting to ₱1,859,598.00 for Dapitan City to support the LGU’s “Smart City” initiative. This was formalized during the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between DOST-IX and Local Government Unit of Dapitan City held on 16 February 2023 at the City Hall of Dapitan.

During the MOA signing ceremony, DOST-IX was represented by its Provincial Director for Zamboanga del Norte Mr. Nuhman M. Aljani while LGU-Dapitan City was represented by its City Mayor, Hon. Seth Frederick Jalosjos.

07 March 2023 | The celebration of National Women's Month continue as the men and women of DOST IX from the Regional Office and Provincial S&T Offices are having fun during their Fitness Tuesday- Zumba session.💃🏼
This month-long Zumba sessions every Tuesday is part of its efforts to support the celebration of NWM and become a healthy workplace setting wherein employees can dance their stress away. The activity also help promote awareness for DOST IX personnel, that being fit and healthy will foster a more productive and positive results in the quality of their work. 💜
